Menatone “King of the Britains”の2004年製の個体が入荷いたしました。探している方も多い、完全ハンドメイドの基板を用い、ポイント・トゥ・ポイント製法で作られていた頃の個体となります。
King of the BritainsはMarshall系ドライブペダルの良作として知られているモデルです。真空管をFETに置き換え、実際のMarshallのアンプの回路を小さな基板上に再現したような構造を持ち、ヴィンテージのMarshall “1959 Super Lead”のようなクランチ〜ディストーションを創出します。
粘りとキレを両立した音色、そして弾いた基音がしっかりと残るという、非常にアンプ的な歪みのキャラクターを具えたペダル。ピッキングの強弱への追従性もかなり高く、逆に言えば、セッティングによっては強く弾かないとしっかり歪んでくれないという、それこそMarshall 1959のような特性を持っています。また、Treble、Middle、Bassの3つのEQコントロールで音作りするところもアンプ的です。
この時期のKing of the Britainsで作るクランチサウンドは非常に秀逸です。近年のペダルたちと比べるとクセが強く、扱いにくく感じる一方、使いこなすことを楽しめる楽器的な一台です。

This throw is gorgeous! Quality and elegance fill the room. It is well made and looks exactly like the photo and description. Has the black tips which is what I needed to bring my chair to life. It has a soft lining against your skin and i really didn't have to do much when I removed it from its packaging. It was nice and fluffy and looked beautiful draped on my chair. Many reviews said to shake it to bring flattened fur fluffy again but not on this one. I really love the black shading on it, its just enough. Beautifully packaged and arrived next day! Doesn't get too much better than this!

DO NOT PUT IN DRYER
Color: Cream&grey, Size: 60"x80"
Very soft, very comfortable, very warm, sheds a lot at first. 9/10 for initial impression.
So how do you wash it? The instructions say take it to a professional dry cleaner which costs more than the blanket, so that option is out. I've been looking everywhere and everyone says something different, I've ruined two blankets trying to figure it out how to clean them. DO NOT PUT IN YOUR DRYER WITH HEAT, EVER, PERIOD. I ruined my second blanket by putting it in the dryer for just 7 minutes on 'delicate' heat, just don't do it. Even using no heat in the dryer will cause the material to become slightly more abrasive after each cycle. MACHINELESS AIR DRY ONLY. The faux fur has an insanely low fraying point and even getting it moderately warm causes it to become abrasive and have a harsh tangled 'dog blanket' feel to it that is permanent.
COLD WASH ONLY ON DELICATE. This seems to have little to no effect on the quality of the blanket. Use high quality detergent with little to no additives for delicates and a laundry bag. Fabric softeners are a big NO, they will shorten the life of your blanket substantially.
For colors, The Cream and Grey and Yellow and Grey are very nice and picture accurate. The Camal was far darker than the images would have you believe and it has a greenish copper tint to it. The Ivory looks awful with how they brushed the tips.
